Derrill Miller, San Jacinto volunteer extraordinaire, recognized
Derrill Miller has been named the Al Wohlfarth Volunteer of the Year at Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District.
A news release says Miller was selected for his 27 years of service to Valley-Wide Recreation and his important role in developing and growing the OldLympics and horseshoe tournaments in the San Jacinto Valley.
Miller was presented with the award at the Aug. 21 district board meeting.
